Pembroke Wood Golfers
I know this probably isn’t the place to post, but would anyone have any interest in putting together our own golf society? Good day out, once a month, to get acquainted with other PW residents.
If there is enough (or any) response, I would certainly be prepared to do some of the work, but would be looking for another couple of other volunteers.

Passage West GAA Club situated at the top of Church Hill has a modern clubhouse Bar available for all types of children and adult parties,anniversaries,christenings,meetings,re-unions etc.There is no charge for the use of the premises and we can also look after the catering.
Also the club is always looking for new players are people interested in helping out.

anybody out there having problems with broadband? have bt but its soooooooo slow, bt tell me settings on my pc wrong
but same prob when i use laptop–basically they just dont want to know–

I don’t have BT broadband, I’m on Eircom, but I’d say you’re spot on, they’re trying to fob you off. The only PC setting that I imagine will affect your broadband, would be the link speed on your network card (assuming you’re not connected to your router via USB). This should be set to ‘Auto-Detect’ by default in Win XP already though.

thanks john, my contract is up with them farly soon, so i suppose i’ll talk with my feet– my sister was having the same problem with perlico-she moved to eircom and everything was ok- i thought they were all usiing the same network though
